El gentilicio es el adjetivo que denota el origen de las personas, ya sea por ciudad, regi\u00f3n, entidad pol\u00edtica, provincia o pa\u00eds. Como adjetivos, tienen g\u00e9nero (masculino o femenino) y n\u00famero (singular o plural) en espa\u00f1ol; pero, en el idioma ingl\u00e9s, no tienen g\u00e9nero y siempre deben escribirse con la letra inicial en may\u00fascula.<\/p>\n

Para decir que soy de un determinado pa\u00eds puedo utilizar dos formas:<\/p>\n

1. Hacer referencia al pa\u00eds (I am from<\/em>) y luego el pa\u00eds<\/strong>
\nEjemplo: I am from Italy \/<\/span> Soy de Italia<\/p>\n

2. Utilizar el adjetivo de nacionalidad<\/strong>
\nEjemplo: I am Italian \/<\/span> Soy italiano<\/p>\n

Para preguntar acerca de la nacionalidad de alguien:<\/strong>
\nWhere are you from? \/ \u00bfDe d\u00f3nde eres?
\nWhere do you come from? \/ \u00bfDe d\u00f3nde vienes?
\nWhere is your girlfriend from? \/ \u00bfDe d\u00f3nde es tu novia?<\/p>\n

Para preguntar si alguien es de una determinada nacionalidad:<\/strong>
