Para preguntar la hora en ingl\u00e9s se utiliza la siguiente expresi\u00f3n: What time is it?<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Pero tambi\u00e9n es usual escuchar alguna de las siguientes expresiones:<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Have you got the time? <\/em>
\n– Could you tell me\u00a0what time is it please? <\/em>
\n– Would you mind telling me what time is it? <\/em>
\n– Do you know what time is it?<\/em><\/p>\n

Cuando nos preguntan la hora, siempre hay que comenzar la respuesta con “It is” o su contracci\u00f3n “It\u2019s”.<\/p>\n

Cuando a la hora sigue una fracci\u00f3n de minutos, si es inferior a 30 se utiliza el adverbio \u2018past<\/strong>\u2019. Si es superior, se indican los minutos seguidos de la preposici\u00f3n \u2018to<\/strong>\u2019.<\/p>\n

The Roman Numerals show the hours of the day. During the 14th and 15th-centuries, these mechanical astronomical clocks were created in several European cities.<\/p>\n
