Las profesiones llevan el artículo (a/an) delante. Ejemplo:
– She is a journalist.
– He is an architect.
Si el nombre de la profesión (sustantivo) comienza con consonante se utiliza “a”, y si comienza con vocal se utiliza “an”.

“I would like” y su contracción “I’d like” quieren decir “Me gustaría”
“I’d like chicken, please” / “Quisiera pollo, por favor”
“I’d like to eat a dessert”/ “Me gustaría comer un postre”
Se usa la misma forma con otros sujetos.
Yo: I would like – I’d like
Tú/Usted: You would like – You’d like
Él: He would like – He’d like
Ella: She would like – She’d like
Nosotros: We would like – We’d like

Ello: It would like – It’d like
Para formar una pregunta simplemente hay que cambiar el orden.
Pregunta: Would you like ____?
Posibles respuestas: Yes, I would. / No, I wouldn’t.
